Senior Electrical Engineer - 20 yrs+ Experience

Your responsibilities will include project management and direction on electrical design. Mentoring to intermediate level engineers will also be required.  As a minimum, you will be responsible for the following:

•    Electrical systems design, including; HV substations, MV switchgear, MV and LV motor control and protection.

•    Power system calculations, including; short circuit studies, relay coordination, arc flash studies and harmonic analysis.

•    Electrical specifications, including; equipment and construction.

•    Vendor shop drawing reviews.

•    Project coordination meetings with other discipline leads and clients.

•    Proposal preparation including; design methodology, scope of work and services, man-hour estimates and schedules.

Your qualifications will include:

•    Electrical engineering degree, combined with 25 plus years experience on industrial, utility and municipal projects.

•    Experience in a consulting environment is beneficial, but is not a requirement.

•    Demonstrated experience in large projects.

•    Demonstrated oral English communication skills.

•    Ability to prepare effective technical reports and proposals.

•    Current Professional Engineering status in a province with eligibility for registration in the Province of Saskatchewan.

•    Experience with instrumentation and controls would be an asset.
