Tony Toews joins KGS Group as Health & Safety Manager

We welcome Tony Toews to KGS Group as our new Health & Safety Manager.

Tony brings 20 years of health and safety experience in the construction industry, with expertise in disability case management, hazard identification, serious injury and fatality prevention and the development of controls for high-risk work.

Before joining KGS, Tony worked in environmental and mine remediation, though most recently he supported construction projects with Graham Construction.

Throughout his career, Tony has advocated for a proactive approach to health and safety. While effective response to incidents and challenges is essential, he believes the greatest value comes from being involved early in a project to identify risks and establish controls before issues occur.

“It’s not how much safety you do. It’s the quality of it.”

As Tony settles into his role at KGS, his priority is getting to know our people and understanding the health and safety challenges our project teams may encounter.
