Human Resources Coordinator
We’re looking for an HR Coordinator who is organized, people-focused, and excited to grow their career in Human Resources.
About Us

Our work in Manitoba ranges from the design and construction of major hydro dams to the first large diameter tunneling works in the province to a variety of engineering services for noteworthy local landmarks such as The Forks Riverwalk, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Bell MTS Centre and Birds Hill Lake, to name a few.

- Work with HR, the hiring manager, and IT to ensure employees have everything set up for their first day
HR Operations & Administration
- Keep employee records accurate and up to date across our HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, Vantagepoint)
- Support employee lifecycle changes (hires, promotions, transfers, terminations)
- Prepare employment letters and maintain HR documentation
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Assist with payroll preparation and data checks (Canada & U.S.)
- Support benefits enrollments and changes
- Help answer employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and policies
Employee Experience & Culture
- Be a go-to contact for general HR questions
- Support onboarding logistics like workspace setup and coordination with IT
- Assist with internal communications and HR initiatives
- Get involved with social committee and employee engagement activities
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and fun workplace environment
Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Support HR systems with data entry and updates
- Help track HR metrics and reporting
- Look for ways to improve processes and make things more efficient
About You
- You have 1–2 years of experience in HR, administration, or a coordination role
- You have a diploma or degree with a focus on human resources or business
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and love keeping things on track
- You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- You have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people
- You’re proactive, take initiative, and like figuring things out
- You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- You have a general understanding of HR practices and employment standards
- You’re a strong relationship builder who can connect with people across the organization
- You’re someone who’s willing to jump in, help out, and be part of a team
