Gary Crewdson becomes Environmental Department Head in Thunder Bay

We are pleased to announce that Gary Crewdson has been promoted to the role of Environmental Department Head in our Thunder Bay office.

Gary has worked with the Thunder Bay environmental team since he joined KGS in 2008. In the 18 years since, Gary has led various projects from environmental site assessments and baseline studies to contaminated site remediation and solid waste management planning. Gary has been the KGS lead on numerous Canadian National derailment responses in Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba where he has provided primary response and team supervision.

Since 2024 Gary has acted as the Assistant Department Head undertaking many of the responsibilities related to the day-to-day management of the team. Throughout his work, Gary has obtained significant experience working alongside project stakeholders and rightsholders and Indigenous communities, Municipal, Provincial and Federal governments.

Gary’s continued dedication, work ethic, well rounded experience and willingness to go the extra mile exemplify KGS Group’s core values.
