Brian Peter

Brian Peter is a Principal at KGS Group responsible for the Hydro Project Delivery Department, leading teams in major hydroelectric and water infrastructure projects across Manitoba, Ontario and beyond. Brian has over 38 years of experience in project management, hydroelectric development, dam safety, flood protection, and large-scale infrastructure design and construction.

Through nearly two decades with KGS Group, he has led some of the firm’s most complex assignments, including the Pointe du Bois Spillway Replacement Project, major OPG dam safety initiatives at Little Long and Smokey Falls and work on the Niagara Power Canal and Moose River Basin Greenfield Hydro projects.

Brian focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality project execution while developing and mentoring the next generation of project managers and technical leaders. His priority is building strong client relationships and guiding multidisciplinary teams through challenging, high impact hydro projects.
