Colin Siepman
Colin has over 30 years of experience in planning, design, inspection and contract administration for a wide range of infrastructure and structural projects. As a senior structural engineer, he is well versed in infrastructure assessment and rehabilitation. He also has extensive project management experience, including scheduling, cost estimating, multidisciplinary coordination, benefit–cost analysis and public consultation for projects valued up to $500 million+.
His infrastructure background includes diversion channels, dikes, water control structures, gates, cofferdams, flood pumping stations, hydroelectric generating stations, dam safety projects, reservoirs and water treatment facilities. His other expertise extends to bridges, roadways and transmission structure projects.
Colin’s building structure portfolio spans light commercial developments to heavy industrial facilities, including steel rolling mills, food processing plants, grain handling operations and pulp and paper facilities. He also has specialized expertise in the design of braced excavations, retaining walls, lifting devices and fall‑protection systems.
In addition to overseeing complex engineering projects, Colin provides strategic leadership and oversight for project delivery and business operations. He drives business development initiatives, improves operational efficiency and mentors multidisciplinary teams to support the company’s goals.
